Power Mirror Conversion
OK so first place I looked to try and find a wiring solution for this was at the wiring diagrams in the Chilton, and guess what, they don't mention anything about power mirrors in any of them.
I've searched all over this site and there were no clear cut answers on how they get wired up into a non-power mirror car.
Has anyone done the conversion from manual to power mirrors and if so where did you guys wire them in??

Re: Power Mirror Conversion
A couple questions first:
1: Do you have the stock wiring harness or are you just wiring them in?
2: Did your car come with any power options? (locks, windows, trunk pulldown)
If you have the stock harness you just need to run the wires thru the car and hook the power up to C238 (behind the drivers side kick panel). If your car came with any of the other power options it should have the C238 junction block. If not, you probably don't have it and you'll need to splice into an accessory wire. I've been converting my 87 Sport Coupe to ALL power options (Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Seats) and this is the most comprehensive wiring diagram link that I have found:

Hope this helps!

Re: Power Mirror Conversion
Thanks Guys thats perfect! Almost everything else in my car is power (Windows/Locks/Trunk) only the mirrors aren't. I bought the mirrors off ebay and it was basically everything you need. It came with the harness as well as the switch and everything. I could have probably figured out how to wire this in and rig it up as I'm pretty good with car electronics but I wanted to do it right and have it hooked up as stock as possible.
Thanks Again!

Re: Power Mirror Conversion
I know this is an old post but this is what I'm getting ready to, were you able to do this swap? you said you had the wiring harness with your mirrors, what did you do to make it work?
Thanks for any info.
