Re: High Beams Not Working!

Adjust the high beam switch - it's on the steering column just above the brake pedal. Remove the underdash panel, move the lever and you'll see a rod moving up/down the column into the switch. Two 7mm screws hold it on. Set your tilt wheel where you normally drive, lossen the two screws, and slide the switch up the column just a tad, retighten and try it - adjust as needed, but make sure the tilt wheel is down where you have it when you drive - it's impossible for the high beam switch to work at all positions of the tilt wheel.

Re: High Beams Not Working!

CamaroNewbie,
I am having the same problem where i pull back the turn signal lever and nothing happens. I found the white switch under the dash where the steel rod goes. And i push it in and it works. But my problem is, is that i have no idea where the rod connects to to the turn signal lever? I see how the rod goes into the white box under the dash, but how does it stay there? it just goes in and out and than where does the rod connect too on the turn signal lever? Can you or anyone please help me out with this one, its been bothering me for days.

I'm not sure either - if the rod is in place and moving, no need to really know. Trust that it works, and adjust the switch accordingly so that the rod activates the switch.
