Steering Column Smokes When I Accelerate

So this is a very strange problem, when I give my car full throttle the steering column starts smoking, and she will only make it up to 140km, then will redline.

V6 or not, a Firebird is still a Firebird. And a much newer one at that.

Quite right! I am very pleased with my new fourth gen, I wish I could get the keyless entry system to work, I think the module is gone on it.

You mean Chevy Pontiac is no longer with us unfortunately.

My driver side door isn't even the original. The key just so happens to fit into the lock and turn it, but it doesn't actually do anything lmao.

Yea around here its a Buick/GMC/Cadillac behind the Ford dealership which is across the street from the Chevy dealer. I hate driving by it and seeing all the new shiny Camaros and C6's

Now that I think about it, I hate driving down that street at all! Theres also a KIA, Dodge, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Suzuki dealer in addition to 3-4 larger used car lots all within 1 mile of each other.

I know what you mean, it says Pontiac at our lot, but the sign says "Used Pontiac" it upsets me, Pontiac was such a good brand, I always thought of them the more luxurious package of them all, since you see a camaro, then a firebird, same platform but Pontiac always had more features then Camaro, and better styling in my opinion.

Agreed. With our automotive market all but exploding a few years ago, nobody really wanted the niche that Pontiac filled. Everyone started buying eco friendly and foreign cars. Pontiac was pretty much a more sporty Chevy. Just look at the interiors compared to their Chevy counterparts.

Grand Prix was the Impala ( Infact the GXP and SS share the same engine )
G5 was the Cobalt
G6 was the Malibu
G8 is a 4 door Camaro/GTO depending on your trim level
Solstice was the tiny roadster
GTO was the " Muscle " car after the Firebird was gone
and of course the Firebird. The muscular rice raping badass-mobile.

There was also a couple smaller cars for the MPG rabid buyers and a couple SUVs if Im not mistaken. I left out the Bonneville since it was a copy of the Grand Prix.....no real point to that car...
