Hatch Motor just goes down I need help I tried Evrything
Ok guy I searched and searched the whole forums tried everything, but I can't seem to get the motor to go up. So my motor was working and one day just stopped, but also the day it stopped going up my battery kept draining over night. So I checked it 2 days ago I replaced the relay checked the Lid fuse which was good. I connect it back and it kept running so I opened it the plastic bushing was bad order a new one. Today when I replaced it I connect the motor it went down and it stopped like it should, but can't get it to go up. I tried messing with the switch behind and nothing. Now I seen the wire schematics for the motor but Im not good at reading those things Can someone please help me.
Here are some pictures nothing seems broken.

Your stuff looks different from mine, but it should work more or less the same way. There are two things that can be giving you problems. One is the relay and the other is the "reversing switch" and you already swapped the relay. When you put it together, that black plate in the first and second picture has a little tab on it that "flips" the reversing switch when it gets all the way up or down. If you don't put it together right, that won't happen and it could break something. When your hatch went down and stopped, you should have heard a click right as it shut off. That would have been the reversing switch flipping so that when you release the hatch, it will motor upwards until it reaches its limit and flips the switch again, setting itself up to go down again when the hatch latch engages.
Don't worry about adjusting all the slack out of your hatch yet. If you have the assembly too tight, you will put too much stress on the plastic parts causing something to break when it tries to pull the hatch all the way down.

I did replaced the relay but the one by the hatch motor I read in one thread that theres was another relay for the hatch by the center console. My car is a 92 firebird....if its the reverse switch how can i replace it or fix it....

The other relay is just for the electric release mechanism, it shouldn't have any effect on your problem. I believe the thing in the last picture is the reversing switch. You should be able to find the mechanical switch lever on it and be able to switch it manually so that you can test the contacts with an ohm meter.

ok so just tested the switch I'm not getting any readings also I checked the volts on this plug I read there's two wires that supposed to get power. One being a black one I had 12 volts on the first red one but nothing on the other ones

You should be able to measure 0 ohms resistance across two of the terminals with the switch in one position. You should then measure infinite resistance across the same terminals with the switch flipped. You should also be able to measure 0 ohms across two of the other terminals. One terminal is common to both "throws" of the switch.
