Axle/Gears: 273?277
Key cylinder

Do i have to be able to turn the ignition key in order to replace the key cylinder. Cause this won't move

No, its held in with a pin.

Lookup any YouTube video on how to replace an ignition cylinder on a GM Passkey (vats) column. 99% of it is the same across the board.

On my 92 you have to remove steering wheel and beyond to access the screw/pin that holds it in

I know. but the book says to turn the key to run before it's disassembled. If I can't get the key to turn, I can't put it in run position. Good to know i can still change out the cylinder even if it won't turn. Fixing to be picking up the car next week
