Re: 4 Bolt Main 383 block
The block is fine and came out of my car about 2 weeks ago. I'm building a different combo. The block, the mains, and the main cap bolts are what are being sold. The block has cam bearings and freeze plugs in it still.

Re: 4 Bolt Main 383 block
I ran it for 1200 miles before the end of the season. I have all the block specs for the machine work done. The deck height I believe is 9.25" I'll confirm.
Typical 383 prep work: 4.030 bore, align bored with deck plates installed. I have all the receipts to show what was done. This would make a strong **** 350 or 383. I was running a 5.7 rod / 3.75 stroke assembly in it fine.

Re: 4 Bolt Main 383 block
Deck height is 9.025", bores are 4.030" and still PERFECT. I don't know if I'd even hone them. The block was aligned honed and when bored had torque plates installed. Cam bearings are still in, so are main bearings. All main caps are included with the bolts. I can take hi-res pictures of anything needed. The block was painted with POR-15 Chevy Orange Engine Paint (3 coats).

Re: 4 Bolt Main 383 block
Is the block still for sale, and is it a hydraulic roller block?
