Drop spindles, springs
I have a set of front drop spindles and rear drop springs. Hodgkiss I think is the brand on the rear springs(matches the rest of the rear suspension). Not sure on the brand of the drop spindles. The rear springs are 1 inch I believe and the front spindles are 2 inch. $300 for the set plus shipping. You can see the profile in the pic. They came off of my 91 GTA but should fit 82-92.

Re: Drop spindles, springs
Here are some pics of the spindles. They could stand a sand blast and one of the backing plate bolts is broken off and needs to be extracted or use them as they are. They were like this when removed and nothing rubbed. The spindles are in excellent condition as are the threads.

Not trying to crap on your sale but I'm not real sure they are drop spindles. If they are they are unlike any thing I have ever seen. Seems to me like they are regular cast stock spindles. Any way to prove the drop. If so I'd be interested.

Re: Drop spindles, springs
Well, I wouldn't exactly know how to prove the drop other than when I pulled them out my car went up 2 inches.

They appear to be. I compared pictures of these to belltechs; they are basically splitting images. They are definitely drop spindles. I compared them to my factory spindles and the mounting points look to be 2 inches lower on these. (Except for where the strut mounts; it appears to be about an inch lower)
I will have to confirm if they are belltechs when they get here.

I just got these bad boys in. They are definitely Bell Techs.
I took a few pictures; they are in good shape aside from some rust.
I'm thinking about sandblasting the bodies at work (I'll have to find a way to cover the bearing surface); and then I'll either have them powdercoated or I'll just repaint them my self.

Re: Drop spindles, springs
Glad you finally got a set. I got the set on e-bay a while ago but have no idea when I'll get them installed. Got to get all the brake stuff on top of selling a car a house and moving.
