the 35 spine would be $170 to $189 more..
them 35 spline lockers are not cheap.

if you have ever picked up a cast iron 3rd member..and picked up a aluminum 3rd member..you would never want a iron unit in you car ever again..

 

What about a 35 spline spool. Pm me a price with a lightened spool and 3.50 street gears.

 

can do another 9"aluminum 3rd member..31 spline Detroit locker. 3.25 bearings (the big ones) billet yoke 1350 or forged steel 1330 yoke.. you put it together all new parts $900.. $1100 assembled..

My buddy tried to buy an aluminum unit one time and they wouldn't even sell it to him since he was driving on street some. What's your take?

 

Had my aluminum one on the street for 15yrs or so.

 

How do you like the locker on the street. I was told to go with a true trac for street. Wish I had the cash right now, I would buy one from you.

 

glass smooth on the street..iv had everything that's out..i would not want anything but a locker..works 100% of the time..every time...

 

I have a powertrax locker now and hate it, and would love a Detroit Locker 31-spline. I have a cast-iron center section, and a quick performance housing. 250 shipped you say?

 

remember this unit is the 3.250 Bearing..what size bearing is your case...

 

nothing wrong with driving them on the street....every day...they run cooler the the cast iron units..(heat dissipates faster)

 

Good question, I'm not sure, it's been a few years since I put it together. The case came out of an f150 if I remember correctly.

Anyway to tell by the casting numbers?
