I'm putting an LT1/700r4 in my 1980 International Scout, and I need a set of engine mounts from a 3rd gen. I need the metal part that bolts to the engine, for both sides.

i know someone who owns a couple and is VERY much into the old internationals and especially scouts

i owned a 77 RH drive robin egg light blue one with the 304 and probably the 727 trans it ran good i should have kept it it was just a 200 dollar rusted beater but it was fun

they are rare as hell now


any light duty IH is now

It was a 304/727 combo as well. I figure the LT1 should make a little power difference!

how long have you had this ride ?


these are a unique breed for sure, only a certain type of people are interested in them

they seem to be pretty stout trucks and a good solid brand and they tended to build these trucks heavier stronger than they really needed to be, in alot of cases

i really wish i had kept the 77

it ran so well, and was so unique

i should take pics of the few that are around here still just because they are different and interesting there is a really mint shape nice IH pickup running around town that i need to pic ifi can catch it again., it is so odd to see one running around haha, it is an odd green color

I've been into Scouts since '98. I got this one in bad shape...shoulda junked it, but I spent a pile of time and money to save it.




That was before, obviously. It was junk. I think the firewall, hood, one inner fender, frame rails and tranny tunnel are all that remain...everything else I replaced with new/good used/fabbed stuff.

I replied to your email. I'll take them.

Alright...maybe I don't have them covered. Email responses are a little lacking from Randy, so if anyone else out there has a set of these that they can ship ASAP, please let me know. I can do PayPal, mail cash, etc...whatever you want. I really needed these last weekend, then today was my next deadline...now I guess I'll drop back to this coming Tuesday that I'd really like to have them here.
I had agreed on $25 shipped from Randy, and would like to stay with that number. Anybody?
