Compatibility issues?
i revently wrekced my 87 355 5 speed formula. I am gettin a new body which is looking to be an 82-84 trans am 5 speed car. I wanna know what kinda compatibility issues i may run into while doing the swap. i know the engine will bolt up, but will there be any problem using my t-5 and my 10 bolt from the 87 or the hydraulics for the clutch? Pretty much is there ANY thing that will be different on the 83 then there was in the 87? thanx.

The brake lines will be SAE instead of metric, the clutch will be mechanical instead of hydraulic.
I'm not completely sure about this, but you may have to drill the firewall to fit the '87 clutch master cylinder.
Otherwise, you'll probably come across some little things, but in general shouldn't be a big compatibility issue.
