bbc swap burning plug wires
have hooker swap headers and cheap accel wires with 90 degree boots would 115 degree boots work better

I've used straight boots on all my BBC engines. The only time a BBC needs 90* boots is if the plug wires run under the headers. That's very unlikely for a production car.
I currently use sleeves similar to the ones in that link just for a little more protection through the tubes.

AlkyIroc is totally correct...should have a straight or slight bend to them (some allow you to bend a bit to fit). Also the taylor boot holders work well, but if you want a cleaner look I personally run the MSD Boot guards. I run this on my BBC and hav ethe wire laying on the header...doesnt phase the guard at all.
