Looking to buy a 3k mile Iroc - Opinions please...
I found a 1987 Iroc - 3200 documented miles, 350, T-Tops, black on red cloth, power everything. Was stored for 20 years. Haven't seen it in person yet, but pictures are promising. Seller is asking $12,500 or best offer. I've been looking for a low mile 3rd gen and this seems to be a decent deal, looking for opinions/cautions/recent sales prices please! Thanks!

Is this car advertised for sale in New England? If so, I have seen it. It has been repainted. Not sure why a 3k mile needed to be repainted.... But, that price is certainly cheap for one if those miles are legit. Post up some pics if you can.

This guy was selling his for $20,000 then lowered it to $16,000.I think $12,500 is a fair price and a good one also.

Yes...current owner said repaint was due to peeling and less than optimal storage...

Re: Looking to buy a 3k mile Iroc - Opinions please...
Last year I had a chance to buy a low miles '89 IROC-Z with failed paint for about $3700-ish. The car was mint, except for the paint. I hesitated for a couple of days, because I've got enough cars already. It sold quickly to a guy from Wisconsin.

Thanks for the advice everyone...the car is no longer available, never got to see it...
Init4fun...I'm in the military and was last stationed in Korea...haven't updated my profile. I don't even want to know how much that move would cost...but it may be worth it to be rockin' an Iroc in Korea!
