Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

I'm in the middle of swapping the RS style steering wheel to the Iroc style.. and apparently I need some extra hardware to get this to actually work. For the Iroc wheel all I have is the wheel itself and the horn cap, that's it. Does anyone know what else I need to get this working? Thanks!

Re: Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

i did that switch. it should work fine. The IROC wheel has some screws that hold it to the metal hub that attached to the column. The hub looks like a metal octopus,

the trickiest part of the swap is getting the horn to work, the way the two steering weeks operate the horn are totally different. I I had to take a female electrical connector that slid down firmly on the post that has the terminal on it.

Re: Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

yes, I made a metal frame for the inside of the cylinder that I glued the broken parts to, and then sanded it, and repainted it with spray on bedliner for texture. looked great

Re: Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

Hey thanks! That'll help out quite a bit... so I'm guessing all I need is the hub, screws for the wheel, and the horn wire.

Re: Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

that's a a reasonable price Thomas. While you're at it, he's going to need that horn wire. (part number 7 in the scan of the manual I posted)

You might want to shoot him a price for that too.

EDIT: see? LOL

Re: Need Iroc steering wheel hardware

That is true. You will probably also need the Horn Wire which runs $3.00. So, for the Adapter, 6 Cap Screws and Horn Wire you would be looking at $16.00 plus shipping and handling. Here is a picture of those items. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached at (805) 522-2539.

Thank you,
Thomas

The weight is 2lbs. and if we are shipping to New York the shipping and handling will run $10.00 which would bring your total order to $26.00. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached at (805) 522-2539.

Thomas....do you buy parts? I have 91 leather airbag camaro wheel I don't need. normal slight lifting of the leather by the horn buttons on top, but otherwise in perfect shape.
