Some pics of my car finished (LS1 GTA)

Just a few quick snap shots, I'm going to try and get some more and better overall shots of it tomorrow. I swapped the front springs out of it today since it was sitting way too low and basically sitting on the bump stops... now its got stock WS6 springs with 1/2 coil cut off... sits about like stock and rides/drives great. Just gotta get it aligned again. How do you think it turned out under the hood???

Red button for the linelock, chrome toggle and green LED for e-cutout

Tested the linelock out in the garage a little bit.... apparently the nittos were hot b/c it tried pushing the car forward and it definately layed down some rubber

Best overall pic of it so far... sorry it's ****ty.

Later!

Looks sweet, and this pic gave me an idea on what to use the switch that is in my 5-speed plate I got from a buddy of mine....thanks, I would have never thought of hooking up the line lock to this one.

Cool shot

Good exhaust shot with "dual hump" T56 x-member.

Another shot of the ground clearance and x-member.

All done, looks factory

That's all for now.

I see you have the hawk headers too

I just dropped my motor in last night and I noticed my driver's side header is touching the fuel lines

Is yours like that too, cant tell from the pic.

Nope, don't remember the driver's side hitting, but my passenger side is only about 1/8" away from the "frame rail" and hits some... I need to clearance that area with a BFH. LOL

Very nice car. The only thing that could possibly make the car look better is about .5 to 1" fender to tire gap removed but I'm sure when everything is aligned and broken in it will be slightly better. You better post pics when that happens!

Yeah, the frontend is about 1" high right now b/c it needs aligned... pushing the strut bearing mount plates back in toward the motor should align it and bring the frontend back down.

Looks great, nice to see another ls1 3rd gen finished. My headers were pretty close to the fuel lines but i had braided lines so i was able to route them around them a little, and i put some heat wrap around some parts just for some extra precaution.

Justin

P.S. - How do those 17x11 rims on the back fit, anyway you can get a pic from the back so i can see how they fit. I'm thinking about running the same size as soon as i do my rear end swap.
