Car: 1984 Z28, 09 Silverado Engine: 360, 5.3 Transmission: TH400, Freakshow 9.5" Axle/Gears: 9" 4.71 | Re: My Build Thread Decided the 7.5 rear end was on its last legs, and not wanting to drop the coin to put a ready to go bolt in 9" in the car I decided to build one myself.
This rear was originally for a G-Body, I cut off all of the mounts, fit it under the car and shortened it to an overall flange to flange of 56.5"
The mounts I installed are from Racecraft, with a Currie Enterprises Torque arm adapter.
Founders performance for panhard, and LCA's. |

Dash bar, a pillar, windshield bar, door bar, and sill bar all tacked into place. Door bars will be coming out for now while I complete the tin work inside. |

I am trying to finish cleaning up the rear tub area, and make my templates for wheel tubs (alum). Once I get one in I will try and get some more pictures up. |

New moser axles, spool, and 5/8 studs. Don't really need that big of a stud, but fiigured I might as well do it at this time.
Hopefully I will have some pics of the tinwork, and cage completed in the next few weeks. |
