1988 Camaro IROC-Z (6th third gen)
Hey guys, just figured it was time to add my latest Camaro to the board. The previous owner delivered this car from Virginia (8 hours away from me) back in December of 2015. What appeals to me the most about it is that it has been unmolested, aside of a few minor things. I hope that I hang onto this one because clean IROC's in my area are getting very hard to come by at affordable prices. I plan on getting it back to 99% factory spec and just drive it as is. Enjoy the pics!
Its supposed to look like this, except for the T-Tops:
RPO Codes:
Here's the actual car:

Things I have already done to the IROC:
-Getting trans rebuilt as we speak. ($550 not counting pull and install)
-Put a new Optima Red top battery on it. ($220)
-Put new hood and trunk shocks. (around $100)
-R-134 adapter kit. ($15)
Things I have planned for the IROC:
-Purchase factory rims. (good friggen luck)
-Get body and paint finished. (going back with factory color and red/black stripe kit)
-Get the interior nice and stock again. (front seats, dash pad)
-Fix driver door hinge problem.
-Purchase a nice set of rear window louvers. (rpo DE1)
-Purchase the lower grill insert.
-Get it running smooth and drive it!

I like the stripe color, and I don't think I've seen the red/black option on a grey car. I just looked it up to see if it was available in 88. What baffles me is the order form doesn't show the black/blue stripe, but does show the black/red.

Seems like when I see one this color, it always has the blue and black stripe lol. It's gonna be hard for me to go the red and black route because it reminds me too much of U of L. Makes me sick just thinking about it...

Factory red interior would look great! I plan on sticking with stock for now though. The grey is rather boring lol.
