My Formula had an aftermarket Ground Effects kit on it when I bought it.

Re: 87 formula with ground effects?

My 88 Formy 350 has ground effects. The original owner ordered them from the factory--I have the original paperwork to prove it! Check it out in my vGarage:

Your car looks exactly like mine, even where the spoiler is cracked! Well, except yours isnt slow.

I really like that it has fx. I was wondering about putting them on mine eventually, but everyone says they will make it not a formula (this prooves them wrong).

Do you know if those are the same FX that the t/a's got? The pic's dont show the front clip where the fog's would be.

Also, I dont think I would keep my factory bumpers. I dont really know if I like the wat the fx look with the rubber black inserts still there.

Haha! My brother from another mother! You have one sweet ride there!
Yes it's the factory Trans Am GFX kit. My front clip has spaces for fog lights, but (like any other Formy) no actual lights. Ah well, goes faster without 'em, hahaha. I don't have any pics of the front clip, but I can take some if you'd like to see.

Those actually look alot like the pro-am/bandit II gfx choo-choo customs made as an option package.

They do not appear to be the production gfx that came on the trans ams (at least 85-90 t/a's anyhow).

(black car has the side gfx painted to look like the 91-2 gfx, or maybe are, I can't tell on this tv)

Re: 87 formula with ground effects?

Wow, now that you mention it, my front clip DOES look slightly different than the Trans Am one--who'da thunk!? It also looks a little different than the two you posted. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Thanks for the input!

Re: 87 formula with ground effects?

Wow, I wish I could find those ground effect kits like the ones on the blue formula and the red pro/am. Does any one know if they still make these kits. I have looked for a long time all the kits I can find you can tell are aftermarket kits. I want the ones that look like the 86-90 ta's but will leave my black bumper inserts.
