Exciting Day Got Me A 92 Jamaica Yellow GTA
It will need restoration but that is ok with me. It's with the mechanic right now and he is going to get it running so I can drive it and begin the body work. I'm going to decide at that time how in depth I want to go.
It's a 1 of 5 according to Firebird Colors, Codes, and Quantities by Robert Casey. There were 15 Jamaica Yellow GTAs made total.
My first purchase for the car were these emblems. I did this so that I can have something to look at as inspiration. They came in today.
For the time being my 87 gets all the attention. I'm doing a good bit of MODs to it and it should be ready around May-June timeframe.

Both awsome GTA's!!
Yes it is, whether good or bad it sounds like that car got some attention out there in the Lone Star state.
It needs some work, probably paid more than I should have but I lost out on a white 92 5 speed GTA, then a low mile red 92 350 GTA. I was not letting this one get away. I never thought I would have a shot at a Jamaica Yellow GTA. Always wanted one but figured collectors had them all or any that were driven were wrecked and sent to the scrap yard. When I saw this I said this one is not getting away.

Very cool to see a Jamaica yellow car getting fixed up, I saw a convertible that color in my area last summer and its a great color. BTW where did you get the GTA emblems? They look great, I tried getting some from CARmotorsports recently and they looked terrible and I had to send them back.

Thanks for the words everyone.
Those emblems are from Car Motorsports. The emblems I got are great. I hope it wasn't a one shot thing because I need to order a set for my convertible as well. We will see. I'll be ordering those soon.

Yellow FTW, very nice find. I still regret not buying a yellow 87 vert camaro a few years back.
