new to the site. thinking on buying a camaro.

well my frist car was a 1987 rs v6. RIP

anyway i have this opportunity to swoop up this 1991rs 305 v8.

so my neice's dad has had this car since 2003, it look'd so sweet but it has been sitting for a year and a half, it need's a new rod bearing he said. it run's and it's driveable but has a slight knock.

cd player and three 12's in the back. flowmaster muffler. and it's a V8............
the inside is still nice, i will need to give it a paint job. and fix or replace the body kit.

so im thinking if i get it i can get it fix'd for not to much, or even invest in a long block or re-built engine if i can find one.

if he's giving it away, take it, if he wants money for it, go look somewhere else.

these cars aren't worth sh*t anymore and to buy one that has mechanical problems is retarded

Re: new to the site. thinking on buying a camaro.

****** it up and put a few bucks into it to make it you. No matter what car you end up buying, you will put money into it one way or another to give it its own personality and flare. It may not be worth much to insurance agencies, but its worth is in your heart. Welcome to the board. Im in Auburn if you got any questions or want some help.
