Stealth Nitrous System

Alright, I have plans in ordering a TNT kit for my 1988 GTA 350 and was wondering if anyone had any tricks they knew of, as to hidding the solenoids so they weren't very noticeable upon popping the hood. The bottle will be hidden as thats no problem.
Thanks

the first thing people look for is the selenoids. savy inspectors like me look for the activation switch. there are a few places that make a TPS activated set up. dry is easiest to hide without going under manifold. I just put it next to the TPS and between it and the TB

I only did mine that way on one car. I had it installed and a few people said it was hard to find. I just spent another hour hiding it better. I only did it because of the chit talkers. At the time I had a huge strong motor with crappy heads and TPI intake. It gave me the heads and intake I needed to make that engine run properly, just in a bottle instead.

Race for Money! No True racer races for money, you have to gain respect for your car first. There is too much that go wrong in a street race for you to put money up on it.
Anyways i just want to hide it so if some little ***** comes along and is talking ****, i can REALLY put him in his place.

No true racer? That's the biggest load of $hit I've ever heard. Why would you not race for money? When you race on the street it allows for a slower car to keep up w/ a faster one. 1) traction, they put track bite down at the strip. 2) when you have a flagger (w/ a flashlight) no one can time the yellows and get a better r/t. 3) you don't need a cage to race a 10 sec. car on the street, at the track you do.

I hope you don't plan on "hidding" the bottle in the spare tire well. B/c that's the first place people look.

Oh and the deal w/ gaining respect? WTF, I don't give a rat's *** if I lose. I always do, until I put some money on the line. Then my car picks up over 150 hp. Its that simple. I LOVE people that have a fat wallet and think all 3rd gens are slow. Easy money.

Mine's hidden pretty well..

why?

One word: Sleeper.

I don't agree with your "no real racer runs for money" comment. Nitrous/gas is expensive. I don't spray UNLESS there is money involved.

Solenoids are hidden on the tray under the stock location for the air box. Sheet metal enclosure over them, then air element over that

Bottle is in fender (spare tire well) 15lb bottle, NX remote opener, NX automatic heater.

Nitrous pressure gauge is flush mounted in center console. Also in center console is a LCD display for bottle temperature.

Switch box is located in center console as well.

Line runs from spare tire well under carpet, through firewall into fender.. Runs inside the fender to the front clip where it goes into the mentioned enclosure.

Lines for the fogger run enclosed in heater tubing to the intake piping. You can't tell what it is at ALL.. looks like emissions tubing..

Fuel source:

-4 line comes off stealth ram fuel rail next to firewall, up into fender. I run a T here, one goes to my A Pillar mounted fuel pressure gauge (save the dangerous speech for someone else. it's there for money reasons & a way to plumb the fuel for the hidden kit) and then it runs over to the fuel solenoid by the air intake. A hobbs switch is used before the fuel solenoid(at the end of the long fuel line) to make sure the line is filled before spraying.

There are so many guys used to handing the 3 gens in the front range here thier doors at the end of the race. They never expect to see you getting smaller and smaller (well not out the front window anyhow) A hidden nitrous system is just another way to make that happen, but for the most part I believe in not hiding it now.
