Re: A couple MAF to MAP questions

It's my understanding that you have a 88 Iroc that you are simply switching to MAP SD. If so, then recheck the magnetic in programming. The SD ECM needs a 4000 pulse VSS to be correct. I think that...

Re: Looking for miniram 8d ve & spark maps to compare

For what it's worth, here are the VE tables from TPIS for a built 355 with miniram and I think (not sure) 24 lb injectors. This was developed on their engine dyno. TPIS recommends injectors by hp so...

Re: Looking for miniram 8d ve & spark maps to compare

I certainly agree that 60lb can work in lots of car/engine combinations. I only contributed my opinion in order to perhaps help someone. I didn't expect to be flamed. In any case, here is the advice...

Well It appears you have all your answers then. I have basically the same setup except MAP and have it tuned with 30lb and I'm not using half of the capacity of those. Bigger is not always better!...

Re: Looking for miniram 8d ve & spark maps to compare

You would probably know more than I but, IMO 60lb is just too large. 30lb is more reasonable. If it's a blown engine, then it sounds reasonable.

Re: Looking for miniram 8d ve & spark maps to compare

In my opinion, 60lb injectors are way too big for that engine and you'll never get a tune with them as they will be mostly shut down just to run and idle.
