You don't need an LT1 intake. Any SBC intake will work, you just need to drill new bolt holes and use some angles washers. Putting LT1 heads on a gen I block is not a matter of just bolting them...

Probably more like 130,000 miles. Or the motor has been completely abused AND THE OIL NEVER CHANGED. Alot of motors with proper maintenance can see well over 100,000 miles and still have no ridge.
