I think I found the original owners Debit Card, expired in 93. I also found 3 house type keys and $1.43 in loose change. Don't tell the IRS about the loose change, my taxes have already gone up...

Maby it is different in knoxville, but I had no inspection when I registered my 89 here in Clarksville. I have not removed any of my equipment but I would not hesitate to if I felt the need.

89 IROC, RPO 74Q and 74U. 74Q=Flame Red Metallic GFX and 74U=Victory Red Body. Pretty sure they should both be same, right?

I bypassed it with some resistors. I matched the keys resistance and it started right up.

you can get the ball joint press from auto zone, advance auto or any local parts store. Auto zone was a 100.00 deposit that was fully refunded when I returned it.

Dont forget the ball joint press and some grease. Good luck! I did them last week, had never done them before. The first one took me 2 hours the next was easier.

She was cranking, now when I turn the key to crank I get nothing. I Did hot wire from the solenoid to the battery and it will turn over, just wont start.
