Re: 383 TPI Build Questions

It wouldn't be too much for the 350 but it would be too much for the stock programming in the ECM.
Come up with a build plan.
Do your research on what you want and what has been proven to work well...

Re: Wont start unless i squart fuel in tpi. fuel pump?

Do you hear the fuel pump run for 2-3 seconds when you turn the key on?
It would be a good idea for you to run a fuel pressure test as well.

Re: Surging at idle after warmed up

I dunno.
You could download tunerprort (search on here for the website) for free (donations always welcome), but you'll still need a cable that you can get from www.moates.net

Re: tpi codl start problem???

Ohm out the injectors on both cars.
IIRC the injectors should be ~16 and the CSI should be ~4.

Verify the numbers. It's been a while since i've had to do that.

Re: how to check for air leaks in Intake Manifold: Detailed Help Wanted

If you've changed that much and still have the problem, you need to throw it on a scanner and NOT a code reader.
That should save you some...

Could sound like a squeal or even a grinding/rumble noise.
Use either a long handled screwdriver put it to you ear and listen to the pump or use an automotive stethoscope(safer).

Datalogging would be the first thing you should do.
You need to see what your BLM's, INT's, and O2 sensor are reading.

Re: MAJOR HELP!! with Intake system....

There should be 1 threaded hole per runner. That bolt goes from the manifold to the runner as opposed to the runner to the manifold.
These 2 bolts have a different thread pitch.

Re: Compression Test Results

A leakdown is the way to go.
Keep in mind though that with the carbon buildup, you could have abnormally high compression readings.
