You should be able to use the 4 speed, Its exactly the same gearbox wise except 5th gear is missing from the extension (tailshaft) housing side.

few areas of the blue ridge pkwy get up and over 5000 ft but that's almost 2hrs away from the triad which is only 400-600 ft above sea level

yellow is bright on low and dim on high with relay buzz

orange brightens from to low to high

Good deal i was afraid to this is my first carb but i had to adjust the floats push the tabs in. Think i got it a little too rich but it runs alot better getting pushed to my seat now but sometimes...

Ive actually tried that but it barely climb s in 3rd with it to the floor 2nd seems risky witjhm the first start of the day is hard even with light throttle until engine idles for 2 mins

I am suddenly having problems accelerating to highway speeds. It drives perfect off the line and even at a stand still i can do a wot launch spin and and chirp the wheels but as soon as i hit 55-60...

Just read up on the diagrams for the fuel gauge now i dont think its a sending unit problem its not pegged past full but it just stuck around ¹/⁴ and occasionally empty it acts like it not getting...

10 mph speedo lag

My 86 iroc speedometer has a 10 mph lag (i.e speedo says 55 actual speed 65!) After the previous owner switched the factory rear to a posi 3.73.

Just about finished with my rebuild now except for one thing my output and input shafts won't turn by hand no matter what gear it's in. They all turning fine even with the band in while rebuilding it...

another likely cause is the band which could be warped or worn when it engages it clamps the input drum and sun shell allowing the rear planetary to rotate engaging the 3-4 clutches.
