I'm using a Crown antenna as well, seems to be holding up well. It may be the angle of the pic, but the driver side fender GTA emblem looks to be out of position. Has the car had any body/paint work?...

FYI my flame red '88 GTA came with bright red emblems, so it wasn't just 87s...

I agree, sell or keep the firebird and get a low mile mint GTA. I would start off with the best platform possible and upgrade from there. In the end you'll be much happier you did.

That box in the top left corner is the shift indicator for the 5 speed manual. As far as the oil gauge, it could be that the oil pressure sending unit has failed.
