Lighting messed up.

I have been searching a while now and can't figure my situation out. When my headlights are on, the amber lights (they blink with the blinker on) won't come on. They only work when I use my blinkers....

alright with a spark tester, and doing what you said, i get spark every now and then, i took my dist. cap off, and noticed i can turn the rotor (if thats what it's called) all the way around freely....

Why is there such worry about water hitting the engine? I see people drive around with no hoods all the time with no problems lmao. People even wash their blocks with a high pressure hose.
