If the cylinder isn't firing it will cause damage rather quickly. That cylinder will wash down with fuel and wear the walls and rings.

Agreed. It looked too powdery to me to be epoxy. It doesn't make much since not to do rings and bearings if your pulling the heads off anyway. It could save you a big headache and more expense...

Mine is at 6 degrees. I'm not using an afpr either. I just bolted a TPI set up off a 305 onto my HOT CAMED 350, set the timing to 6 degrees and drove it.
