That's where I tried looking, but there was nothing there. The exhaust pipes go from the engine bay to the muffler and then to the back. I guess it was straight piped or something like you said.

It is fairly expensive, but the engine they priced out for me had over 500 horsepower and was fully dressed. Like drop in, hook up all connections, and done. I'd say that's almost worth it.

I can't imagine that kit was easy to install seeing as front bumper and fenders are all one piece. Should be an easier fit with separate pieces though.

I'm fairly certain that's an 84 z28 cuz I saw it on this site under the gallery labelled as such. I may be wrong though... But I have an 84 with the factory kit and it doesn't look anything like that.
