The lobes are all in good shape. The cam has about 35,000 miles on it. It actually came out of a friend's car before he redid the motor and trans. He did have a chip done by Howell Engine...

I had it out but put it back in to try to pressure test it. I got my multimeter ou to test for electrolosys. Never checked for this before but that may be the issue. I gotta figure out how to fix...

Changed the ignition control module and changed out the IAC with a spare that I had on another throttle body. Drove it around and let it idle for quite a while, so far so good. One thing I did notice...

Looks like Advance Auto has the AC/Delco but its $73.99....is it worth the difference? I have had trouble with Auto Zone stuff such as starters and alternator...I just didn't want to spend more than...

Thanks guys, the ignition module is still the original as best I know. I will look at replacing it. Is this the right part...Control Module Ignition part #DR140 for $39.99 at Auto Zone?

I have the same problem. Have you pulled your tank yet? Mine seems to be leaking while the car just sits. It does seem to be coming from the top. Would this just be the lines, or something else?

J91 if you don't mind help me understand the helicoil. If I were to put a fitting into the radiator that would allow me to run a hose to an inline tranny cooler and the fitting threads are 1/2" 20...
