89 and older steering wheel (non-airbag) most I've seen had the earlier 4 spoke T/A steering wheel. That looks better.

huh? outside of the inner 4 bolt holes being a different angle.....well scan that car any codes? might try a different ECM so hard to fix something without seing it. Don't give up you've came to far....

good reason lol I've got stands/cherry pickers etc. I even plan on pulling the 305. Just did a light weight flywheel and new clutch. The car never had A/C so pull the radiator, front cover balancer...

Nice GTA wheels I have a set. Also own 3 BMW's 88 M5, 01 740i M and the wife drives a low mileage '05 X-5 with M sport wheels. Used BMW's are cheap and not hard to work on. I would never bastardize...
