I never hear the box. If you have any sort of exhaust on the car or drive mostly with the radio on or windows down, even if it does hum i doubt you willl here it.

When i had one, i had it mounted on the driver side kick panel in the car and ran the wires through a tiny hole in the firewall. It was never really in the way, but would probably be more of a pain...

Depends on how thick of a coat of overspray. I used a clay bar and the lubricating spray your supposed to use on it and rubbed the car down when i painted some stuff and got overspray everywhere.

I had oen made in PA for my car that said "HOT89RS" but then i got collector car plates so now it just hangs in the garage.

But then had people ask me what is HOT 89rs, like the San Fran 49rs....

On the black rubber i beleive naptha thinner will take it off, but be very careful getting it on the paint. And dont leave it on the rubber too long, it will swell the rubber.

Just did some touch up spray on a couple places on my car. Masked off pretty good but still got over spray, i used a clay bar for on the paint and a razor blade on the glass, no problem.
