figured i'd update for the archives: it turns out the fuel pump was going out, and the black hose replacing the float had a hole in it dumping all the pressure back into the tank.

it will now move...

EGR was fine, IAC a little gunked up, timing a little retarded. it will barely idle right now but the speed is low, need to reset IAC etc tomorrow.

We're thinking the smoke was drip from the valve...

so i think one of the plastic tabs that hold the LIM to runner gaskets in place might have fallen down the LIM runner. Maybe it jacked up a valve seal and then combusted in the cylinder, and now oil...

so the voluminous plumes of white smoke have been replaced by a fine cloud that picks up over ~1.5k rpms and (as seen through the hatch glass) appears to have a blue-ish tint and definitely doesn't...

well it turns out mine was salvageable, although the drillbit gluing didn't work.

I've got an extra used solenoid that i got to replace mine, i'll get that to you at my cost (probably around $20...

So I broke one of the plastic vacuum hose pegs clean off my egr solenoid . . . am I pretty much high and dry for like $80? Most places don't even sell the egr solenoid, thats the best i could find.
