Mine is gone along with the rest of the AC setup. People told me I'll regret removing the heater valve. Well I haven't had any complaints yet. My car still blows cool air on the vent setting as well....

That is from a GM Service Manual, if you work on your car yourself you must get one. It saves so much time and really helps you figure stuff out. I love mine.

The 86 hatch with the light mounted outside the glass has a spoiler like that. Couldn't you just remove the light from the 87-90 cars, fill in the holes and have the same thing?

LOL, don't hit yourself. I love the color, especially when it's new. Part of my car was repainted after an accident and the color is really nice. Hope to get the whole car painted next year.

No more problems with rust than other thirdgens. My car is originally from Jersey, so the underside is pretty rusty. It's all surface rust but it's there. I got my TA fro 7k in 2000 with 57,xxx miles...

The long hose over the valve cover is only temporary. I took out the AC in the summer and didn't get a new heater box til winter and needed to get the heat working quickly.

Well, I'm 29 this month, had my TA for 4 years now. Was gonna keep it mostly original until I found out the original motor was gone. Stuck a 350 in it and am starting on the suspension/chassis now....
