I dont know what else to say other than the fitment worked fine with mine and several others that were installed years ago. I cannot...

I WAS the product engineer on the design, I left the company 3 years ago the pics are of my car, which was originally a T5 car. As for the rear mount mine uses a Moser adapter and went together...

Since you are trying to be as cost effective as possible, I would suggest a set of stock Z28 5 spoke aluminum wheels, wrapped in some 26 x 8.5 slicks.

Tunnel Mount here, has been 1.50 to the 60' footbreaking, this is a track only car, so noise isn't an issue.

I will have to take some additional pics, I have done both.

I hated the way the cowl impedes the access to the distributor, and the trans tunnel to clear the JW Ultra Bell.

I think your on the right track with your current plan. I would say just make sure to go with a 26" tall slick with the 3.23 gears.

Not sure what your budget is, but a good set of AFR, Dart....etc heads, performer RPM intake, and then call up your favorite cam company and have them help you select the correct cam for your engine...

Last year it was pulling the front end pretty good, but on the two passes I made 1.52 and 1.50 it felt less violent.

With the DA hovering between 3500 and 4000 the car was able to go 7.25 @95 mph witha a 1.50 60' time. Ended up having issues with the tow rig and had to cut the evening short. Still need to play...

I can't help a whole lot as I don't know the drift scene very well, but I would think you are going to want to really stiffen up the chassis with a good set of subframe connectors, and a strut tower...

Just jump straight to a bolt in 9" unit and be done with it.....

FYI....stock weight with you in it should be 3500-3700 pounds, you are going to need at least 550 HP
