a svo would be a good match for a 305 or 350 they gave 5.0 mustangs a run for their money don't underestimate them especially if work has been done i've seen 400 hp svo's still running off a 2.3...

if it smelled like rotten eggs but sometimes it doesn't smell like that U could also tap it and hear for lose pieces. Another thing to check is if a vacuum line came undone it will make u run rich....

gm made there cars run hot so it will burn more gas and emissions but that does seem pretty hot i haven't had mine on the road yet so i can't tll ya about the 5 hours thing tho.

yes there is vacuum, actually 2 one for ur vents and one for ur heater valve that runs back into the engine bay i would check those out maybe it's just a little pin hole i got mine disconnected and...

i forgot to mention that also when my maro idles the engine vibrates maybe more like a shake cause it's pretty bad could a MAF sensor be the problem cause that hardly makes sense to me unless that...

u might just have to time it better make sure u pull out ur est connector b4 timing it and erase the code then plug it back in if u already did that i'd suggest maybe a little tuneup on it.

ya man it can all come off just don't unhook ur A/C lines or u'll have to get it recharged. I'd just hang ur compressor to the side and hope that the coolant switch will come out easy.

If it has been sitting for awhile i'd change that fuel i had the same problem until i siphined out all the gas and added hi octane. Actually before doing that check ur fuel pressure.

pairtoe87 i don't have any knocking in my engine at all and i followed every step to adjust the rockers, that has crossed my mind tho. Street lethal i was just thinking about doing that at work today...

i heard bosh spark plugs are no good for these cars (weak spark or something). Maybe try some ACDelco's R43TSK that's what i got.

well here's the details:

I got a 3.4 swapped camaro with a 5-speed and a/c.

My fan only comes on when i jump the terminals for diagnostics or when i jump it at relay. The car gets really warm...

i seen repair kits on ebay and i think top down solutions have them to all i did was save the money cause i don't need no fancy pants pull down unit i just taped some holes marked it up and bolted...

well after everything i did it started up and runs awesome actually idles now, at 1200rpm. So all i got now is a vacume leak i'm gunna check my booster next time i'm out workin on it.

alright cool i'll do that. If u spray carb cleaner into a vacuum leak it will raise ur idle so u know where it would be right. Also is there supossed to be a inline fuse for the MAF circuit?

the 3.1 is the exact same heads as the 2.8 only the 3.1 is stroked. SO there might be different sized lifters because of the cam. I know one of the gm sites have all the specs i just can't remember...
