Hi all, been years since posted here, but trying to find a 91-92 trans am. Prefer a hardtop and roller/project car around ohio.

It would need to be towed, 10 bolt rear end with 3.08 gear non positraction

And won't split up car/motor deal because I have no use for motor then.

Well considering I prepped by having new flywheel checked for trueness. Then cleaned the crap out of it with brake clean, also pressure plate. Put everything together by hand then torqued everything...

I have a centerforce clutch in my Chevy 4x4 and is supposed to be best money can buy......and it slips......badly. But oh well

My biggest concern is clamping load for launching.....I know I know the t5 has a weak case and such lol

But lately been seeing more and more t5 equipped thirdgens at drag strip running HARD lol

If I were keeping it bone stock id keep em but electronic qjets fight be everytime. I've had 3 vehicles with electronic qjets and never had success. I've tried new carbs......rebuilt......everything....

Save up and build a mild 350 and just swap them.

The end of the day you will still have low output lg4.....and only 50hp more.

Mild 350 with vortec heads and lt4 hotcam will run great and cheap...

Well found a little out.

Few wires are crossed and touching, now miss for most part is gone.

Mixture screw cover is missing and when sprayed with either motor rises in rpm. So im assuming it...

Well it started before tune up and new carb so im kinda lost since a myriad of parts were thrown at it. Literally everything to my knowledge gas been changed except ecu.

Maybe a a worn distributor...
