found this post looking for something else. in case you haven't found it yet the coolant temp sensor is drivers side front in between the front two plugs. single green wire.

I'm not a cam expert, but it's 100000x easier to swap a cam with the motor out, so it'd be a safe bet to use the TPI cam.

As long as the deck height is stock on the new block and you use the TPI heads and stock style gaskets, you should yield an identical compression ratio.

Marine Gel coat style paint will survive longer on there better than any other paint.

Figures GM designs the most PERFECT looking spoiler, then makes it out of the dumbest possible material...

It seems like the SFC being on the bottom and the thin stuff above it, that it wouldn't be too bad to draw the heat upward. Looks like I'm going to chop up some riding lawnmower hoods and some tubing...
