Last year on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson had a nice Z28 for his trip from Florida to New Orleans. Called it the "serial liller" car. Man I love that show!!

I dd my 85 z28 with an lg4 all year round. Commute is 10 minutes to the train station. Full tank lasts me about 2 weeks.

Removing Factory undercoating from the engine bay

I've done a TGO search, and the best process I've read is to spray mineral spirits and use a toothbrush.
What's the best process/product for removing the fugly undercoating in the engine bay?

Whatever displacement, I'll probably go with an Edelbrock 650 non-egr performer carb, and an air gap intake. Vortec heads are a thought I've been kicking around too. Are they good for bottom end...

The stock engine rarely sees the high side of 3000 rpm, now as Im not a leadfoot. Looking for a strong setup that does all the good stuff under 5000 rpm for AutoX. Maybe add a 75-100 shot later...
