Update on my problem. I changed the O2 sensor and the car is running alot better.



I have to ask. When you said you changed the firing order what did you change it to, or how did you change...

Yes they are stock. The car was purchased from the original owner and I have every receipt of all the work done.
The plugs were all the same when I pulled them, so I would like to believe that it's...

Ok folks heres the deal and I'll try keep it short.
I just bought my 1st 3rd gen a 91 Z28 305tpi A4.
The car ran really rich when I got it(lots of black smoke)
Pulled the plugs, they were nasty...

Gen3 and 4 motors are great for making power but the swap can be expensive. But.... building a 450 hp tpi motor probably isn't going to be that much cheaper. Having had an LS1 I would definately like...

Jeez what a whine fest. I too got sucked into thinking I was going to see an original '88 Iroc. But it turned out to be a nice "period" custom instead.

If you want get your car into the 11's get a 250 shot of NX. otherwise save for a build up. Keep in mind there is a lot of supporting mods to help you get down the track. Also don't worry about wide...

I've been a member for a while and a lurker for longer. I just bought my first 3rd Gen after owning 6 2nd Gens and a 4th.
The car is a '91 Z28 Convertible that I picked up from the original owner....
