Ok I've lowered my FP down to 45psi w/o vacuum and returned the injector constant to match the injectors (24lb/hr)

I've just been tuning with the VE tables so far, had to raise them considerably...

The gui sees the COM port (doesn't do anything when set to any other port), but still won't communicate with the ECM.

yeah the thing is the hole by the oil filter doesn't appear to be threaded, there is a plug there, but no apparent way to remove it, it sits flush with the block and is perfectly flat.

yeah if you already have the xfi ecu then you still might be able to use some of the Vortec parts to get the ecu the inputs it needs.

The L31 vortec motor uses a 4x crankshaft position sensor in...

Well if you're going through all the trouble of changing out the ECU and rewiring, why not use the LS1/Express Van PCM and Vortec distributor/crankshaft ring/timing cover?
