Ok I've lowered my FP down to 45psi w/o vacuum and returned the injector constant to match the injectors (24lb/hr)

Ok, I made a THIRD aldl cable (this time keeping it simple, just the 2 transistor circuit shown above), still not working

Hmmm, seems the NVSRAM GUI isn't working either
The gui sees the COM port (doesn't do anything when set to any other port), but still won't communicate with the ECM.

In my tank the line to the canister was plugged in the sending unit, I capped it off and spliced a "T" fitting into the line going to the vent in the back, connected that to the canister

yeah the thing is the hole by the oil filter doesn't appear to be threaded, there is a plug there, but no apparent way to remove it, it sits flush with the block and is perfectly flat.

yeah if you already have the xfi ecu then you still might be able to use some of the Vortec parts to get the ecu the inputs it needs.

Well if you're going through all the trouble of changing out the ECU and rewiring, why not use the LS1/Express Van PCM and Vortec distributor/crankshaft ring/timing cover?
