I am either going to go 1.5" on a rear or 2" on a front wheel put on the rear. The 8" wheel doesn't look as bad as I thought it would but it's too wide for that rim. on the 8" rear wheel it's going...

Just wanted to check in on the 4l60e topic. IMHO you'll be fine with a 4L60 for a street/strip car if it is built. I had my 700R4 done by FLP Transmission and have been in the nines the past 2 years...

I've had a good experience with FLP. I'm not saying they're any better than someone else. But they treat me well and I don't have issues.

I spray a 200 out of the hole off and have hit it coming off of foot brake stalled at about 1500rpm. With your Torque converter I wouldn't be worried about spraying it low as long as you have the WOT...

The NOS safety disks are rated to 3300 lbs. / Likw ross said a NOS brand solenoid will not open if the pressure is above 1200#. Bottle temp around 90 degrees is about where you should be at.
