good news fella's, fixed the problem, and i would suggest yall do this too.

Put a new walbro 255 in, replaced all the rubber fuel hoses for the tank, and removed the pulsater on the fuel send...

Very much alive man, just got done tonight installing a 4th gen rear end into the Iroc.......went from the 2.77 to a 3.08 gear, and im fixing to buy a 3.73 posi unit from a guy. Even the 3.08 woke it...

its open all the way to the back.........when driving I can easily see the top half of my motor through it, its very rigid too, a lot stronger with less flex than any other fiberglass hood i have ran...

This is an L-88 style hood from VFN fiberglass, has a 4" rise, and the rise spans the entire hood, rather than just in the middle like most reproductions and the old vettes....

The rods you have should be fine......oriellys has an adjustable pushrod to check the length if you are worried......they also have chromoly hardened pushrods for cheep as well if ur interested.

get on msd's web site, I think they have a trouble shooting area to test the box if im not mistaken, and yea, if you pull the rivits they wont fix it, but the digital 6 is the way to go in my opinion!
