:doh:Oh ya, I looked at my 86 today and realised that you cant get the motor mounts out unless you take the fuel pump off. I did this job on a 91 RS TBI, so it doesn't have the mechanical fuel pump...

New starter motor all mounted up with clean wires as well as new oild pan all buttoned down with new oil !. Motor away from mounts. Timing mark at 6 o'clock.

In these pictures you see the damaged oil pan with bondo. Me grinding the stripped bolt head on the oil pan. And how dirty you get if you don't have a creeper ! It is also way to hard getting...
