Which sig is better
Gotta thank Okfoz for doing those wonderful vector drawings for the shirts. A little color change and editing and I can have a white GTA. ^_^
But now which one to use. I threw sonic in there for fun. Personally I like the one without sonic better, but I'm a video game junkee too, so I'm torn.

And he'll likely be go unmentioned from here on out again.. he *used* to hang from the rearview, but he got in the way of me making a turn once and has lived in the back seat ever since

Pooor sonic.....
....why do I feel the need for some chili-dogs now?
I wish the PNG 24bit format would display correctly in Internet explorer. That way the gradent to fade would look better. But its not too bad.

Heh.. I was just considering doing something like that, too... I see what you mean though :\
EDIT -- wow... about 10 seconds in photoshop is all it takes to realize just how bad GIF transparency dithering sucks. There is no translucent in-between.. it's either a pixel or it isn't. Yikes

Yeah, thats why I wish the PNG-24 format would display correctly. It defaults the background color to an off-white instead of transparent.
Oh well, I suppose thats as good as it gets for GIF format.
When using GIF transparency, make sure you select a matt color that is close to the background of the webpage it will be placed on. This helps tremendously. However, the matt doesn't do much for a gradient fade. It helps more with the edges of a letters or sharp defined edges.

You're right.. IE completely fails to get the transparency right.. looks beautiful in Mozilla tho.

But a majority of the people who browse these forums use I.E. or whatever comes standard on a Mac (Netscape right now I think).

Mildly hijacking the thread for a little research into gradient edging vs. the multiple background colors the board uses along with comparison vs the original... this is probably the first time I've ever intentionally tried to double-post
Sorry for the mess

Oh, sure, when I *try* to double post it fails...
Oookay! Suffice to say anything more than a slight edge fade (first pic has a white gradient for a border, 60% on the sides, 70% on the top/bottom, and very close tolerances to 0%, so that it only affects 2-3 pixels per edge) is almost impossible to make look right! hehe.. I'm not even going to try GIF transparency.. eww.
