That should put you within about 10 miles of ARD (a short distance in H-Town). They hosted a dyno day today, good folks. Be sure and bring SOME vehicle with you, Houston is really spread out. And welcome, look forward to meeting you.

Sounds like what U are looking for--U want to go to the Htownracing board. It deals with more of the local nightly car hangout scene--tuners and American cars-- not sure of the actual web address--do a google and I'm sure U will find it. I'm sure somebody on here will post it as well as any other boards for Hou stuff like that!

You'll be fairly close-in on the northwest side. Easy access to a lot of what's happening.
I won't mention the street-racing scene, I don't endorse it (Westheimer), but here are a few links:

http://www.htownracing.com/forums/

http://www.lonestarmotorsportspark.c...park/index.php

http://www.houstonmotorsportspark.com/

http://www.houstonraceway.com/

You could be amazed how much you can pack into a 3rd gen, I've made trips between DC and Houston a few times.

Others can talk about Sam's Club and Otto's, I haven't been there yet.

AS far as I know Sam's Club is dead--no more.

Everybody goes to the North side out off of 249 to the Niftee Fiftee's show now.

Be a good thread--where are the Sat night car shows these days?

I'm thinking we should give Jeremy a Welcome Wagon. A hooters on the NW side? See the send off he got got from his local region.

Ya know, wait 4 or 5 weeks until I get the 195 Eliminators, MiniRam, and probably 280XFI cam installed and I just may take you up on that offer. H3LL, I'd even pay for your gas round trip!

Might have to make it the same weekend as our club meets....
