Jupitor, classic clip lmao...
Mongoose, I blowed it up! just running to much power thru a stock block i guess.
spun a bearing on a cold night. not really ******* it at the time, was just cruising.
rod starting knocking. I drove it a few times after to go to a couple of car shows about 5 minutes from the house. but after a few months it started to sound like a diesel.
spent 9k on this long block, trick flow head, 402 ls2. using the old blower for now, because to upgrade to the tvs2300 would be another 6500.00
sold the old "blowed up" ls1
guess I could have just fixed the old motor but I figured bigger and badder is always better!

Re: new motor is alive...
Had a problem with a bent reluctor wheel last week, got a billet one in now.
car made 609 hp and 643 tq. dyno'd this morning
was thinking it was gonna be more, seems like thats all the smaller 1900 has got.
don't get me wrong, I can still get into allot of trouble with this much power..
if it doesn't rain I am heading out to cars and coffee saturday, if anyone is going.

Re: new motor is alive...
those are not bad numbers. my buddy with the 04 gto with a stock bottom end. a set of zo6 heads fully ported, ed curtis cam, and the tvs 2300, with a nick williams tb pulling timing to 12* made 550 to the wheels if i remember correctly. he has gotten the timing issue tuned out now so we will see what that does.

Even if it isnt what you hoped for, 99 more hp than you had before has got to feel pretty nice.
