I'm gonna need a little sticky action here Mods, Admins!
G13 is a big fat GO, and we're gonna kick it off early enough this year to allow everyone (including the humble staffers) to plan for it. Start setting aside funds and vacation time to make this event, which will fall on May 21-24 this year. I'll update this post as I get more details from Andy and Chad, but for now, just know that it's happenin'! Be there or be not, uh, round. Or something.

Have been checking with the gathering site recentely, waiting for an update. Missed the past 2 years, hopeing to make it this year. Looking forward to it.
Incredible event, it's a must do for any Camaro/Firebird fan. I had originally posted the dates incorrectly, I have edited the initial post. I'll throw up some pics of years past soon.

Count me in. I'll bring a friend. My Camaro should be done with paint, and this would make a great debut. What kind of cost is involved with attending this event?
i was there two years ago and had a great time. im planning on going this year and hope to see more third gens this time. make your reservations as soon as you can
Ya'll all need to come out, regardless of your car's state of completion- This is the best damn F-Body event of the year, anywhere. Allocate roughly $50 for the entry fee (this is being ironed out as we speak) and Hotel room rates between $80 and $100 a night. You single folks can room together and save cash, no rules set by the hotel on that. We fully understand that the economy and fuel costs are an issue, but let me assure you- I've been car showing for well over 20 years, and this is the only show that is a MUST DO for us each year. I'll get somepics up in a second to whet your appetites.
Will be there! Been looking forward to it since May of last year when I was temporarily separated from my car.
Hopefully will have some others to make the drive with.

By all means, start making plans to have your car there!
BTW, I take special offense to your sig.
glad to see another local here with a third gen. im in the savannah area and plan on being there. maybe we can get a group together for the ride to the show.
There are several groups coordinating coming from Jax, Gainesville, Ocala, and Orlando...Ya'll ought to all get together and roll into ATL in a big group! We'll meet ya'll at 75/85, we're coming in from the wrong side.

That would be awesome! Like I said before, Ive never been to one...so this is a new experience for me. Never had a 3rd gen either, so its like stepping into a whole different world!
I went to g-10 and had a good time. as we get closer to showtime we can workout meeting up somewhere to caravan. with some luck, we can join a bigger convoy coming from the north or south. ill let you know what you would need to bring.
Cant wait!! This will be my 4th year and I love it more every year! Well be coming up from Tampa. Trying to decide if I wanna trailer my 3rd gen and drive the 4th gen or just bring the 4th. Funds around that time will tell.
Im gonna try to go this year(As Im a new F-Body owner) My car isn't hot but Ill get some idea's
That's alright, when I went, I had all my belongings in the car because I was in the middle of moving and the car was gray with a white hood and front bumper. There are some work in progress cars that show up. Including mine.
SNOWMAN, when did you buy a 3rd gen? And what did you get? Buy back the bananabird?
I will definetly come. I just acquired a nice 87 IROC Z in which I will be bringing. I'm new to the Atlanta area. Just moved here from upstate NY 1.5 years ago.

Gawd, I hate you- That's exactly the car I wanted when I picked up my '89.
Count us in. This will be our first time. Is the web site available to register yet? I have tried to register several times, but all I can find is the 2008 site. We are 125 miles north of Atlanta in Bryson City, NC. I am planning to trailer our car down there. Even got the wife is excited about that weekend!

Thanks, found it. In his post, Andy says that the final details for the hotel are in the works, and that there will be plenty of room for everyone. Cool! We will be driving down on Thursday afternoon, by way of I-575 to I-75 South at Kennasaw. I don't want you all to think that I am some kind of snoob or goof, for trailering my F-body. I broke my back years ago, and had four back surgeries, six vertebrates fused. I can drive the F-body for short distances, but can't drive the car for long distances without lots of pain. Still love those 3rd gens though! So, we'll ride in the Super-Duty, and haul the bird!
hope to be there w/ some others from our local 3rd gen group "original gulf coast third gens"
86WS6, I'd trailer mine to if i didnt sell my car hauler
