You have Pro-Kits? What length endlinks do you have?

I'm looking for the general concensus on what length endlinks those of you are using with a Pro-Kit drop. Normally I would just put everything together and buy the endlinks after measuring, but this is going on a daily driver with limited build time, and I'd like to have everything together ready to go. Post those numbers! Thanks!

What ever the stock poly replacements i bought at NAPA are.

I just bought the Prothane Poly one's that spohn sells, but now I've been reading lately that you shold have shorter endlinks when you lower it?

They should be slightly shorter. I'm just going to have to do some measurements to get a true number since it seems like everyone just goes with stock lengths.

What is it that you are going to measure? What is the goal in changing the endlink length? what is the effect of changing or not changing the length? I am installing weight jackers this weekend and will soon be changing the ride height. I was going to buy adjustable end links from ground coontrol but this would help me to know how I want them adjusted. If it matters my driving interest is auto cross.

Basically you just want to have the endlink holes at the ends of the swaybars level with the car sitting at ride height. When you lower the car, the arms tend to angle upward on the front swaybar, and downward on the rear. You compensate for this by shortening the endlinks on both bars.

Keeping the ends level assures plenty of travel in both directions, and keeps the endlinks from angling too far and getting into a bind. It may not even be necessary, but that's the theory behind it.

Dean could tell you if it's worth worrying about or not.....I don't really know.

The control arm and the “arm” on the sway bar should be parallel to each other, and the endlink should be perpendicular to both. When you lower the car the enlink length to do that will change.

It will work if you use stock lengths, it just won’t be optimum… OTOH, if you get them too short you run the risk of tagging the steering linkage.
