Help - lowered car isn't lower up front
Put on a set of Eibach Sportlines on all four corners, a pair of bilstein hd shocks in the rear, w/a spohn adjustable panhard bar. The rears seems like they dropped in height, but the front is actually higher than the stockers. Any suggestions? The springs were on according to eibachs instructions - flat coil at the top so the words are right side up. New sway bar links, same struts/tie rods. It almost looks like the car is launching. Driving it settled it in some, but not nearly enough. The front is visibly taller than the rear.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Did you index the front springs? By that I mean did you rotate them so the ends on the bottom were between the two wholes in A-arm. This will definetly cause the front to sit high.

Another possibility (though rare) could be the spring improperly seated up in the k-member pocket causing a coil to get caught on that ridge and bind.

Re: Help - lowered car isn't lower up front
just to add some to this post, I helped him install the new suspension components. The ends of the springs were indexed properly between the two holes in the a-arm. I've done several spring installs including a pro-kit on my Trans Am. I can't verify that the spring didn't seat improperly in the k-member, but it's hard to imagine it happening because of the way the seat is shaped it really leads the spring into place.
We taped the rubber isolators to the top of the spring while installing the same way I did on my car. I couldn't seat them perfectly in the k-member when installing without putting tons of compression on the spring first (which can be very unnerving!) so I relied on the k-member to guide it into place. Both sides look about the same on his car (both higher than stock) and I don't remember how long it took for my pro kit to settle in after the installation.

Re: Help - lowered car isn't lower up front
Crazy Hawaiian had it right, it turns out that the springs aren't seated properly in the k-member. i jacked it up and looked through the a-arm. The spring is too far outward and will probably drop a good 1.5 inches when it's seated properly. We didn't have time to fix it today. I'll try to take a picture of what it looks like out of position so others can refer to this thread in the future if they have a similar problem.
